Hi

So I know I haven't posted in like forever, maybe I will eventually get around to it. We sold our house, had to be out a week before we left for California, left for California, came home and I've finally started unpacking boxes. And it's Abbie's first Birthday this week so I am trying to get things done for that, plus right before we left for Cali, I found out that I was allergic to eggs, nuts, wheat, yeast, milk, soy, oranges, corn, and potatoes. I have been extremely sick lately and haven't known whats been going on, so that explains a lot! I can eat oats, rice, codfish, chicken, beef, and cocoa! I was excited about the cocoa part until I realized chocolate is made with soy or milk products! Anyway, within a week I will post pictures from our trip, move, and Abbie's birthday. I am still alive and doing alright though!

What was I doing 10 years ago?

I was in 8th grade (I figured that out because Stacey put that she was in the 9th grade), in 8th grade is when we developed our group of friends, I mainly became a part of it because my cousins Nate and Heather were a part of it, and it was all of their friends. That is when we walked everywhere around their neighborhood, and had fun (for the most part... but we wont get into that) Other than that, that was my life at that age.

5 things on my to do list today:

1. Pack - We sold our house last week and have to be out by May 8th, so since we are going to be in California we really only have 2 weeks.... FUN

5. HMMM.... I think I'll pack.

6 Snack I enjoy:

1. Yoplait chocolate whips

2. Pretzels. Especially chocolate dipped ones, I guess it’s the sweet salty thing. But I also like to just snack on them plain. (I just left that one because Stacey put that answer and I agree)

3. Ice cream used to be my favorite, but then I watched biggest loser, and they had all these snacks and they said ice cream had the most calories or fat or something- so I've really cut back.

4. Bread or rolls- Carbs are my weakness

5. Sun Chips

6. Peanut butter bars

( As I was thinking about this- I really don't snack a whole lot anymore, just on Sunday, I actually don't eat a lot during the week, and if I do its usually yogurt or something- Why can't I lose weight? Hmmm... How annoying... I even go to the gym everyday)

If I were suddenly a billionaire:

I would pay cash for a modest home that we could live in the rest of our lives, Buy nice vehicles, Just get life to a point where it is comfortable to live, basically, pay tithing, donate, and invest the rest

I have to write this too before I post, so I had finished half of this and Abbie came up and pushed something on the keyboard and exited out of everything. I didn't remember that the draft saved.... I am so glad its saved because I put it off for a few days because I was sooo frustrated.

Biggest Loser

So I just had to post about the biggest loser. I was soooo excited that Ali won! I think she looked amazing, and just seeing how much weight she lost has given me that motivation, I have never been very thin, but seeing her makes me realize that it is possible! So Yea Ali!

Sunday's are a catch and miss!

So here is my shpill about Sunday's. Sunday's are supposed to be the best, most relaxed, and uplifting day of the week right? Well I think it totally is. However, Sunday's are the day I fall off track, Sundays are the day you go visit parents, who make a lovely meal and you eat more in one day than you did all week long, especially if there is a family party. What is it about Sunday's and good food?? Then I wake up on Monday full of guilt because I overate on Sunday, so by Saturday I am back on track.......... and then Sunday comes.............

Uncle Jay is home

So Elder Jay Love returned from a successful mission in Ukraine. Stacey did such a good job on her blog about it, so you should go check out hers meldrum mob, I have the link with my others!!

Wow I cannot believe it has been two years already! Time has flown, I remember when we got pregnant with Faye, and saying she would be 9 months when he came home, then it seemed like forever! My brother Jay was serving in the Ukraine Kiev Mission. I am so grateful to have him back. He still is the same old Jay, just with a few extra quirks, like now he likes V8 and eats oatmeal for breakfast. He just got home last night so we will see how everything smooths out for him. He looked so nice at the airport, I was saying how much I liked his suit and tie, he told me he has like 70 ties In fact one of his friends stopped by last night, and Jay was showing us all his ties, and he told his friend he could pick one, and Jay would tell him if he could have it! Yep same old Jay! I wish I would have taken a picture of all the ties, it was ridiculous, you have no idea till you see them all, and he had them all color coordinated into blues, green, yellow......etc. It was like you walked into a tie store! On Monday I was telling Mitchell that uncle Jay would be home tomorrow, Mitchell got this big smile on his face and said "Sooooo you think he gonna play trains with me?" Great a new train buddy Mitchell is all for it! Anyways I am so grateful to have him home! He is such a wonderful example to me. I think it is truly amazing anyone who serves a mission. Such dedication and devotion. What a wonderful blessing to have a missionary. Thank You Jay for your wonderful example to me and my family!
