My girls are so funny. The other day I was talking to Kaylee about Disneyland (we are going back in May--- we need a vacation!!) anyway, she was telling me that she wanted to go on Splash Mountain, so I said to her "it's a little scary, you have to be brave to go on it." So she turns and looks at me and says, "Mom, I am brave! I am brave in storms, I am brave on scary rides, I am brave at anything scary. And older people are not as brave as me! I am really, really brave!" I thought it was so funny, because she said it with such attitude.
Then last night Abbie was playing with a little stuffed duck, all of the sudden she comes running around the corner with the duck stuffed up her shirt. She is laughing her head off like she is the funniest thing ever. Then she pointed at her shirt and said, "baby, baby!" I don't know where she learned that--- no I am not pregnant, but Jons sister is, and everytime Abbie sees her, she runs up and hugs her stomach. It is amazing the things kids know at such a young age.
This is how Kaylee's prayers go lately: "Heavenly Father, Thank you that my Daddy built us our bunkbeds. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen." She never says her prayers without saying that. Sometimes she will add extra things, but she never fails to say that.
As for me, I have hit the month mark! Unfortunately, I am still experiencing pain. They think something may be wrong, but they just don't know for sure and can't tell. But I have been having excrutiating pain in my head, I can't sleep because it hurts so bad! Anyway, I talked to my doctor about it, and he said, " you have another month of recovery, it should be gone by then. If it gets worse call me." So its been gradually getting worse, so I called, and basically they upped my pain medication and told me to pay attention to see if I can still feel the pain while staying on continuous doses of the meds. Which means, I am trapped at home once again. I can't drive on the meds, so I can't go anywhere unless Jon takes me, and I have to hope my girls are good for me, especially being so drugged up! After the surgery--- I can say that if I had the option to do it again, I wouldn't. I really don't feel any different, maybe it will change in the coming weeks- lets hope. I will post some after pictures in the next few weeks, now that the swelling is mostly down. TTFN!

Oh man, Holly! I was hoping you were feeling 100% by now! I really hope that pain goes away. It seems weird to just add more medicine onto the pain, like they're just covering it up. If it doesn't go away what will you have to do? Those stories about Kaylee and Abby just had me laughing! SOOO cute! I miss you guys!
Gosh I am sorry you are still not feeling well, what a dissapointment, hopefully it will start to improve and not get worse over the next month. It must be awful being stuck at home all the time, I just go crazy if I don't get out at least once a day!!
I'm so sorry Holly, that's just terrible to just be hiped up pain pills all day...especially with children! I hope that these next weeks things will get better. Your girls are so cute, and kids do say the craziest things....so cute!
Oh that is so frusterating that you are still feeling yuck. If you go through all of that with the surgery and everything, you really would like it to be worth it. I am sorry.
So funny about the bunkbeds, guess she is really grateful for them!!
Kaylee, is very brave, that is funny how she has her little attitude, and wants so be the cool brave girl. Abbie is so cute with her duck in her shirt saying she is pregnant, very funny. As for you I hope you start feeling better, you are such a great sister, and I love you.
