This year we had planned a big trip to California in May. We booked our hotels and everything, but then because of the economy and because of the fact that we want to put it towards a house even though we aren't buying one for a while, we decided to put off the California trip until Jon and I are completely done with school in a couple years. But, because we had told Kaylee we were going to Disneyland and still wanted to do something fun this summer, we bought season passes to Lagoon. Suprisingly, the girls love it. We went the first two Saturdays it was open, so it was way cold, but nobody was there, so way fun because the girls didn't have to wait in any lines.
Abbie squealed and giggled on every single ride. Then she said, "this is fun!!" and "I wan mo rides!"
So even though I am extremely dissappointed that we didn't get to go to Disneyland..... the girls are just as satisfied going to Lagoon and it is worth it to see them so excited and happy and they don't know the difference!

Good thinking! Besides Lagoon is an all Summer thing...where Disneyland would have only been a couple of days! And besides if you wait longer you would be able to ride all the rides with both girls! Cute Pictures of Lagoon though!
Oh Holly I hear ya, Eric and I wanted to go to Disneyland this summer as well, sort of a graduation present for us all but then we decided to save for a downpayment on a house too. Which is good, but I am still feeling sad about missing out on Disneyland, Lagoon is a good idea I will have to do that too.
Lagoon is way fun, hey maybe I can take the girls sometime, or maybe just Kaylee. and Micthell, if he wants to go. I would love taking them on rides.
We are getting passes too! We did it last year and it's way worth it!! My friend actually said her kids like Lagoon rides better than Disneyland, it's just the fun characters at Disneyland that we miss out on :( We'll have to go together!
