Happy Fathers Day!!

I was just reading a friend, Jenny's, post and she posted cute pictures of all the dads in her life and some cute quotes! And I was thinking, I did a fun post for mothers day, but that was because I know that pretty much the only people that read my blog are females and are mothers or will be. So I will just say Happy Fathers Day if there are any fathers that do read this blog. I know that my own husband has looked at our blog maybe twice since I started it, and that was because I made him look at and read a few of the posts. He doesn't really care much about the whole blogging thing--- it's my thing!!!

Anyway, I have wonderful fathers in my life. First off, my Dad! He is hilarious and caring and a very hard worker. My dad loves his grandkids. There is a special sparkle in his eye whenever he sees any of them. He loves to hug them and talk to them. I love my dad so much and am so blessed to have him in my life!

Secondly, my father-in-law, he is also caring and humble and sensitive to the needs of others. He has done so much for us these past two years in allowing us to live in his home so that Jon could finish school and also allowing us to stay while he and my mother-in-law dedicate themselves to the Lord in serving a mission. I have grown very close to him and have a great deal of respect for him. They will be leaving in just over two weeks. I will truly miss them, it will be difficult for them to suddenly be gone.

Finally, my husband, Jon. He is an extremely hard worker!! He will do ANYTHING to make sure his family is provided for. He works six days a week-- almost 60 hours each week, plus he goes to school full time and sometimes spends 20 plus hours at school. Now, some of you would say, "When does he spend time with his family?" He makes the time. He makes sure he spends time with his girls each day and fortunately he has a job that allows him to talk on his phone, so I talk to him several times a day because that is usually the only way we can talk to each other. He is a great people person and gets along with everyone! He also makes sure that others needs are taken care of--- sometimes it can be a little much because everyone knows they can count on Jon if they need help and I will admit it can get frustrating when he spends his spare time doing things for others--- but that is an awesome quality that he has! I love my husband!! There is no possible way there would be anybody else in the whole world who is as good a husband for me as he is!! And he is an awesome father!! It takes a special kind of dad to have daughters and he has the patience to have girls. I know he would love to have a son, but he is great with his daughters and loves them so much. And in the future, I really hope that we will be blessed with a son-- if not that is okay!

So, when I sat down to post this I wasn't planning on putting all of that, but it just popped into my head as I wrote. It is Fathers Day this weekend after all and they deserve to be acknowledged for all they do! So to all the special Fathers out there---- Happy Fathers Day!!!

PS.... Still no baby, I am being taught some serious patience right now!! I just want to meet and hold my little girl, but ALL good things take time!!!

Oh Holly when I saw you had posted something I was hoping that meant a cute little baby girl had arrived. But this was such a sweet post, your dad is one of the kindest nicest people. I loved being in your home with Stace because you all loved each other and cared about each other so much. Happy Father's Day to all the wonderful men in your life!

I have been praying for her to take her time, and she is listening! Just kidding....but all too soon that little girl will be here! Just enjoy it!
