Last Week in Review

I think last week was one of the craziest weeks I have had in a long time. Sunday started it all out. We were at church, and both Jon and I are in Primary. Kaylee came up and wanted me to hold her. She just sat on my lap, I looked down and noticed she was getting a rash, and it was spreading and getting darker. Our Relief Society president is a nurse, so we took Kaylee to her, and she said it looked suspicious and we should take her in. So, we went to Ogden Clinic, and the doctor said it was just a viral thing, but it was also very contagious--- so keep her away from other kids--- Oops! We were with ALL of Kaylee's cousins all day the day before because my nephew got baptized and then she was in primary that day--- she was definitely around kids. I called all of my sister-in-laws, to give them a heads up. But her rash went away in a few days, and as far as I know, nobody else got it. Monday and Tuesday, I studied for finals, and finished up an online class. Wednesday, I was going to go take a couple finals after Jon finished his, but he ended up spending six hours--- yes six hours--- on his final, and by that time I had to go to the oral surgeon and then Jon had scouts. So that left Thursday to take all four of my finals. I will NEVER do that again! I spent three hours at the testing center at the Davis Campus taking finals. I was sooo flustered. I am definitely going to space out finals from now on. I did do okay on all of them--- just not great! Thursday night was our Ward Christmas party, and we stuck around for the whole thing so that the girls could see Santa Claus. Friday was our fifth Anniversary--- yes tangled in with the whole week. It was actually really nice. Troy, my brother, watched our kids all day, and we just went Christmas shopping. We spent half the day at Pedersens getting snowboarding stuff because Jon and I are taking the snowboarding class at Weber State next semester. (Depending on my jaw). He knows how to snowboard, but he wants me to learn how. Then we finished getting the girls stuff for Christmas, and went to lunch at Olive Garden. It was very good! Their soup, salad, and breadsticks is perfect! That night, my sister, Emily took Kaylee home with her to sleep over. Kaylee was so excited because she got to ride Front Runner to Salt Lake and swim at her apartment building. When we picked up Kaylee the next day-- we asked her if she had fun, and all she said was, "Emily didn't listen to me!" Then Emily told us that while they were swimming she slipped off the step and was under water for like 2 seconds--- so Kaylee is mad about it and keeps telling everyone that Emily didn't listen to her.) My sister-in-law, and brother-in-law, watched Abbie that night and we went to a party at some friends in our old wards new house. It was fun to see people from our old ward--- but it was funny, because all of the ones from our old ward were also no longer in the ward anymore, of course the other three couples have gone on and bought or built really nice houses--- we will get there one day! Saturday, we cleaned our house and went to see Twilight--- I really liked it. So did Jon, he actually wants to read the books now. I have to add this in-- yesterday, Sunday, I had gone upstairs with the girls, my mother-in-law was nice enough to feed us dinner because I was feeling really sick and in pain yesterday. We were in their front room, and Abbie went to touch one of the ornaments on their tree. I looked at her and said ,"No, no Abbie." So she turned to me, put her pointer finger up, walked up to me and said, "No, no, no Mommy" It was so funny because she said it with the exact tone and everything, and she has never, ever said no yet! Jon's dad started laughing as did I. It was so funny! Well, that ended our crazy week. Hopefully this week wont be as crazy--- I just have the MRI, and then we are going to Ferron this weekend for my nephews baptism!I know I should have done a special Anniversary post, but the week was just too crazy!! So, I thought our life was crazy going to school---- well school ended, and it got a whole heck of a lot more crazy!!

Holy cow! I'm exhausted from reading about your week! You guys are so busy. So, are you really going to Ferron? I love that place! Who is your nephew in Ferron?

By the way, how did you do your cute header on your blog? I'm not nearly that creative or talented!
