Relaxation

Today I realized what is a relaxation technique for me. Now, most of you probably think this sounds crazy and ridiculous, but it's not sitting and watching movies, not necessarily soaking in a bubble bath, or anything like that. But for me-- it is deep cleaning and organizing. I absolutely hate surface cleaning, I hate having to clean up the same toy over and over again. I do not enjoy doing that kind of stuff, but when it comes to really deep cleaning and getting things organized- that is what relaxes me. I think it is probably because when you do something like that-- you feel a sense of accomplishment. You feel like you haven't just wasted a couple hours doing nothing productive. I really love it!!!

i too feel the same way! my idea of a good time is organizing closets! When Nick has a day off he asks what I want to do, and I say organize! Which usually doesn't end up happening, which is okay I would rather do it on my own!

I sincerely wish I felt that way. I hate any kind of cleaning. Period. Could you come deep clean and organize my house before everyone comes for Ethan's baptism? ;) By the way, I don't think I'm going to be able to go tomorrow. I've had the stomach flu and I'm so worn out. Wish I could see you! Let us know what day you want to observe at Eldon's school.

I have to agree with you. I'm able to sit down and relax a lot better when I know things are clean. I have a weighed down feeling when I know things aren't really clean!

I hate to deep clean, but I understand what you mean. I like how the house looks when I'm done, but I hate doing it.
You are welcome to come over and clean my house anytime!
