Thank you all for your comments. It helped me feel a little better about this whole ordeal. To answer some of your questions--- yes this is the reason I quit school this semester. At the time I didn't know what was going on, I just knew I was in a lot of pain and really sick, and I knew that I wouldn't be able to focus on school until they gave me an answer. But I am hoping to go back this summer-- to catch up for this missed semester-- and if not, by fall semester for sure. Thank you for your offers to help. I have been stressing out about the surgery-- not because of the procedure or anything-- I haven't even thought about it. What has been on my mind is the fact that for the first week I won't be very capable of caring for my kids. That has been the most stressful part for me. Jon has school, he can take off work, I just hate to have him miss school on my account. I think that I have plenty of help, but thanks to you that offered, it is good to know that I have people that I may call if I get in a bind. I am just ready to get it all over with. I will find out everything next week-- my pre-op appointment is next Wednesday and the surgery is the Wednesday after that. I am just hoping that I get off the hook for jury duty next week. Please cross your fingers for me. Thank you for your support. Check back after Wednesday of next week if you want all the details.
