Update

I ended up going back to the ENT on Monday, I found out I do in fact have an awful ear infection in both ears. He said it looked pretty bad, so I have to use ear drops to try and clear it all up before the surgery. I finally went to visit with the oral surgeon today. This is what he told me the procedure will consist of: The will have to first shave a little bit of my hair off from in front of my ear area. Then they will make a verticle incision on each side of my head in front of my ears. Then they will go in, take out scar tissue, replace the disks, and the stitch them in place or something like that. Then they will make three cuts in my bottom jaw and re-set it. Sounds fun, huh? I will post some before and after pictures next week. He said the recovery time will be one to two weeks, but closer to two. Healing time will be a lot longer than that. I will be in the hospital overnight, but if there are complications it will be two nights, so we are just hoping for the best! Wish me luck, I probably wont post again until after the surgery which is next Wednesday the 4th.

I hope all goes well! That doesn't sound like the most fun thing to do. Let me know if you need any help.

good luck! I really think you should stop loving the hospital so much. I mean it's no 5 star hotel so maybe you should stop spending so much time in the hospital. jk But for real good luck! I feel your pain!

Good thinking Annie! I can pay for like some of my copay for the surgery with that money!! By the way you brought up a good point, I could have stayed in a 5 star hotel for a week for what my medical crap is costing me, actually costing Jon.

Oh Holly...good luck. Hopefully this will fix everything and you won't be in pain anymore. I know you have tons of help, but I would love to help too. Maybe I can bring you dinner while you are recovering? I will check back in a couple days and see how it went! Keep us posted!
