So, I don't even know why I would post this hideous picture, but it is my daily update, and I thought I was smiling, I am so swollen and numb I guess it didn't come across that way. Today was the worst so far, and it is supposed to get a little worse. It's a bummer because I thought it was going to be easy. I have felt pretty good until today. I itch everywhere, I think its from the IV because it happens whenever I have had IVs either that or the anestesia. The colorful flowers are a mix of the ones Jon and Kaylee gave me, and my Doctor and his staff sent me the yellow and orange ones. I failed to mention in my surgery post how great my doctor was. His name is Mark Newey, he is the only one in Utah that does the surgeries like I had, but I had no idea. His staff is awesome and he is super nice. He really knows what he is doing and has done a great job. I also have to give a props out to the staff at McKay Dee. My nurses were awesome. They were very consistent and were in the room on a regular basis checking up on me. I was extremely impressed with my doctor and nursing staff. By the way, I am sorry if I gave too much information in my post yesterday, I had just taken my medication when I did that. I think I said things that didn't need to be said. Well, I am exhausted tonight. I am also starving! The diet is very difficult! So, there is my daily update.

Oh Holly, I feel so bad for you!! I'm glad that the surgery went good! That's too bad that it's getting worse before it gets better. Let me know if you need anything!! Get well!!
Oh my goodness, I feel so bad for you, that looks so painful. Though it must be such a relief to be through with the surgery. Hang in there, hopefully every day will get a little better and better. I think it's good you documented your experience, one day you will want to remember I'm sure.
You are such a trooper! I hope you get feel better soon. That is so hard to think you getting better soon and then feel worse the next day. Get well! We're thinking of you.

hope you don't get too miserable in the next couple days... and keep it up with the milkshakes! i'm sure you'll have all kinds of cold faves when you're done with this ordeal!
