I think I have hit that point where I am just frustrated. I feel like I should be recovered and feel good because its been a week, but I am still in a lot of pain and not feeling great. When he said a week to two weeks I was hoping it would only be a week, but it looks like I need to plan on two. The right side of my face is still numb, luckily the left side is wearing off. I have my post-op appointment today, we will see how that goes.
I do have a few funny stories to tell though. On Monday was Jons birthday, I couldn't get him a cake or anything, so I asked him to go pick one up when he got out of class on Monday night. So he brought one home. I pulled it out of the fridge to put candles in it, and Kaylee ran over to Tye(Jons friend who is in the electronic engineering program with Jon who is here just as much as Jon because they do their homework together) anyway, she runs to him and says "We get birthday cake Tye!" so he says, "Oh, is it my birthday?" and Kaylee responds, "No! It's my grandmas sons birthday!!" We all just started laughing. It was so funny! So I know its late, but Happy Birthday to Jon, his twin James, my brother Jay whose birthday was also the same day, my sister Emily whose was the 6th, and my brother-in-law Mikes whose will be on Saturday. Happy Birthday All!
The next story is that I was making breakfast for myself yesterday morning. Basically the only breakfast foods I can eat are yogurt and Malt O Meal Cream of Wheat stuff. So I was making the cream of wheat for myself. Its the first time I have made it because Jon has done it for me everyday. But he had come to get the girls to take them to my Moms house so she could watch them. I still can't watch my kids all day- I think that is the hardest. Anyway, he had to get back to work so I went to make it. I put it in the microwave and it exploded everywhere. So I went to make it again, and as I was walking to the microwave I tripped. It went all over the floor, all over the cupboards, all over the counter, all over the microwave, and of course the inside too because the door was open. So I cleaned it all up, and went to make it again, this time it made it into the microwave. I was watching it so it wouldn't explode. I pulled it out to stir it and it clumped up on the spoon, I wasn't thinking and just went to use my finger to get it off the spoon and totally burned my finger! So- how hard is it to make cream of wheat---- VERY HARD apparantly. I don't think I function very well on this pain medication. I mean the grape juice, cream of wheat--- what next??
So this is the current update. Maybe I will post more after my Dr. appointment today.

Look at the bright side...one week down one to go...you are halfway there! I am sorry about the cream o wheat mess, that stuff I would imagine would be a pain to clean up! Kaylee says the funniest things, she cracks me up!
Your'e so cute that's funny about the cream of wheat. I remember one of my very first nights as a newlywed I was trying to make mac and cheese and ruined it twice, after that it was lucky charms. Go figure sometimes the easiest things are the hardest!
Actually making that stuff is really hard. It's one of my favorite breakfasts, but it sucks to make!
All I have to say about this one is: "OH MY!"
You are so cute!
