Abbie's Birthday!

Abbie turned 3 on Saturday, May 15. I can't believe she is 3 already! She has been such a highlight in our life. She has always been fairly mellow and just a fun little girl all around. For her birthday, we went to my sister, Emily's, apartment in Salt Lake. She was so nice to let us come. She lives just east of the Temple, so we went to Temple Square to see the flowers because they are so beautiful this time of year, and we took some pictures. Then we had sandwiches and cake, and finally we went swimming. That was actually the reason we wanted to go to her apartment, because she has a swimming pool and Abbie has begged to go swimming for weeks, so we thought that would be a great way to spend her birthday. Plus, she LOVES Danny, Emily, and Noah--- Noah is like her favorite person in the world. She just smothers the poor little guy. I am sure Emily is thinking she can't wait until I have my baby so my kids will back off Noah a little bit. Anyway, here are some pictures of our fun festivities.

I also have to say, at 8 months pregnant I didn't think there would be any possible way I would put on a swimsuit. Then I had a friend that said she went swimming a couple of days before her due date and it felt awesome because she felt completely weightless. So I did, and it really was awesome. I didn't even feel like I was pregnant! However, when I got out of the pool and stepped onto the ground, the baby felt like she was 200 pounds. It was a fun day though! Abbie really enjoyed herself. She did not want to get out of that pool!
