Kids..... again

As I have mentioned before, we moved upstairs in my inlaws house. We have been living downstairs for the past two years, and they are leaving on a mission July 5th, so we moved upstairs last week because they are currently on a two week cruise. They were very generous with us and told us they would rather us do the move so I could get settled before the baby came. I wasn't sold on the idea of moving being so pregnant, but my mother-in-law really wanted to do it in advance so I agreed... I am really glad that I did and it is just about done now so I can focus on getting ready for Kenzie.

Anyway, today I was catching up on laundry...... I put it aside as we were trying to move and it really needed to be done. So I was in my bedroom folding clothes, Kaylee was playing a game on the computer in the kitchen, and Abbie was playing with her Barbies and Barbie car. She had put two Barbies in her car and was driving it around. All of the sudden I heard them screaming at each other in the kitchen and Abbie comes running into the bedroom with a death grip on her car and Barbies. Kaylee comes chasing her in and says, "Abbie I just want one, you need to share."
Abbie says, "NO!"
So I asked, "What is going on?"
Kaylee says, "Abbie wont give me one of the Barbies and I want one!"
So I said to Kaylee, "There are several Barbies over there, just go choose one of them."
She said, "No, I want one of the ones that Abbie has!"
I said, "Abbie had them first, you need to choose another one."
So Kaylee looks at Abbie and says, "Abbie, if you don't give me one, then I am not going to play with you anymore!"
And Abbie looks up at Kaylee and says very calmly, "Yep, you wont play with me anymore, that's right."

Kaylee thought she was threatening Abbie, and Abbie turned the tables on her, she didn't care. I started laughing at Abbies mellow reaction. Kaylee got even more angry, and so Abbie walked up and asked her which one she wanted. Then both of them were fine. I think that little Abbie really has learned how to push peoples buttons. I know without a doubt that this is only the beginning of several fights they are going to have........... oh I can't wait 10 years for those serious teenage years........ 3 girls............ oh FUN!!!

That is such a typical day at our house, too! I didn't know I was signing up to be a referee when I had these girlies!! I'm hoping they grow out of it soon. Although, it may just get worse :)

hahaha...that is hilarious. She is good, that is the perfect comeback. Yes, you are going to certainly have your hands full with three girls, but speaking from experience it is the greatest thing.
